Magnificant Mesa Falls

We went for a drive today to see the beauty of what's around us. It was such a fun memory to take off in the car and spend that time with the family. It was colder today and still some snow up in the mountains. We are looking forward to our camping trips this summer.
Thank heavens also for TVs in the car!!! We stole Mom and Dad and aired them out--just kidding. I love capturing these moments with Grandma and Grandpa. I know my dad loved being in the outdoors. He is pretty quiet these days after the radiation took his voice, but he makes sure we really look at the history and grandeur in our backyard.

Twins Birthday

These are a few pictures from the birthday ball bash. We had several different cakes, sport balls and the golf green. The highlight was the gift from dad...the Golden Bear jr. golf set. I just hope they get good enough to support me!! The last picture was at their favorite restaraunt Texas Roadhouse for some ribs and steak. It was a very fun and HOT birthday weekend.

Christine's blab

I have loved being connected to friends and family through blogging, but I noticed today that I am not that great at posting on my own site. I check on all of you frequently and love to peek inside your lives. I have posted a couple things that we have been up to lately. Tomorrow the twins turn 7! Every time I think about them growing up I get that lump in my throat. In fact, Steve and I went to a music program at their school this past week and while taking the pictures I found my self tearing up. We are busy today preparing for the party tomorrow. I am making three little cakes, a basketball, a golf ball, and a baseball. Do you see the theme? It is a Ball Bash!! I will post the hopefully successfull cake making and party pics tomorrow.

Dillon's Dentist Trip

This was Dillon's first trip to the dentist. You can see he soaked in all the information that the assistant was willing to share. All I can say as a parent and the dentist visit is (1) thank heavens for TV's in the ceiling, (2) dental staff that get down on the kids level and make them feel comfortable, and (3) only taking 45 min. for all three of my kids to get their teeth cleaned. Dillon was concerned that his brothers' operatories were showing the same movie (Toy Story). I had a hard time keeping him in his chair for that part. You can see we are all shined up and with a new toothbrush!

Golf Day

Line it up boys.
The Ball Foursome
Dillon and I were the fan section and commentors. (In a whisper..."It was a slightly windy day here in Idaho. The cloud cover was greater than predicted, but still great for the start of the season. The Ball team is ready to warm up. The little ones watch intently to learn any technique from their dad. What a day!")

Braxton is the trickster of the family. We were doing so well with teaching the golf etiquette (speaking quietly, being calm on the course, waiting your turn etc) but that's just Brax. He loves to make a funny.
